Music Together ®

Music Together is a music and movement approach to early childhood music development for infant, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten children accompanied by their parents or caregivers. Music Together classes build on your child’s natural enthusiasm for music and movement to develop his or her musical skills. Ages 0 – 5 with caregiver.
Art, Shake & Shimmy

Drawing, coloring, painting, ceramics and three dimensional art projects for tiny hands. Learn how to use a bamboo paintbrush, make butterflies, flowers, and Chinese lanterns.
The instructor will guide each caregiver as students explore dance, instruments and the use of basic art supplies. Each student/sibling must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 3- 4 with caregiver.
Tumbling Bear

Your toddler will flip for this gymnastics-based class! The instructor will guide caregivers as the students learn to do forward rolls, balance beam, tunnels, and more. Each student/sibling must be accompanied by an adult.
African Dance Safari

Book Club

Cozy up with some beloved authors and illustrators, as well as get to know some new favorites. Enjoy reading and moving with these picture books, and then follow-up with a related art project. Explore themes, art techniques, and creative talents that help to link together verbal and visual literacy through the books that we love to read again and again
Dance Around The World

This class will focus on the music, movement and traditions that come from four specific cultures. Each class is designed to encourage students to think about many different types of physical expression by learning basic dance steps. Found in Irish Step, Traditional Japanese, Greek Folk and Kojo Sho (traditional ancient Chinese defense dance).
Creative Dance and Tumbles

Students will explore many ways of moving and stretching their bodies through creative dance and tumbling. Classes will emphasize simple exercises and gymnastic movements on the mat as well as introduce basic ballet positions.

Students enrolled in the Pre-Ballet I class will experience new ways of expanding their minds and bodies through movement and music. During this class, students will learn to express themselves with the art of dance and creative movement. We will be using an array of games, stories and songs to build upon and improve the development of motor skills and coordination. Ages 3-5 . This is a child-only class.

This class is for students who have taken Pre-Ballet classes. Students will expand their knowledge of basic ballet techniques and improve coordination. Students will begin to dive deeper into the fundamentals of dance with beginning barre exercises, basic ballet combinations, easy-to-follow steps and level appropriate dance progressions. Pre-Ballet II will help young dancers improve body awareness and further improve the development of motor skills and coordination. Ages 3-5 years. This is a child-only class.
* Please note that CHAW highly encourages parents to choose the appropriate class based on each child’s skill and age level. If the instructor feels a student is not ready for a particular class, he/she will be asked to move into one that is a better fit.

Intro to Jazz Dance

Students will learn some fundamentals in jazz like the jazz square, shimees, isolations, and basics of turns. All of these steps will be incorporated into a dance, where each week more choreography will be added. No experience needed
Intro to Watercolor

Beginner/Intermediate Cartooning
