The Youth Arts program is a series of classes in the visual and performing arts for students ages five and older .* Classes meet Monday through Thursday at 4:00 and 5:00 pm (with a one and a half hour class on Fridays, 4:00-5:30 pm). Afterschool van pick-up is available from participating schools to CHAW.

* Please note: All students must be at least five years old by January 1, 2008 to enroll in the Youth Arts Program.

The Winter/Spring 2008 Session of classes will run for 21 weeks from Monday, January 7th through Friday, June 6th. Classes will not be held on the following days:

• MLK Day (Monday, January 21st)
• Presidents' Day (Monday, February 18th)
• DCPS Spring Break (Monday, March 24th-Friday, March 29th)
• Memorial Day (Monday, May 26th)

Please note, although payment in full is appreciated, payment plans are available. This can be done by either providing a valid credit card number or leaving post-dated checks for monthly payments.

Limited Tuition Assistance is also available. Click here to download the financial aid form. Your application and supporting documents must be submitted to CHAW by Monday, December 10, 2007. Applicants will be notified by Friday, December 21, 2007.
