YOUTH ARTS PROGRAM – SPRING 2012
January 3 - June 8, 2012

THE PROGRAM

Capitol Hill Arts Workshop Youth Arts Program (YAP) is a multidisciplinary curriculum of classes, performance, and exhibition opportunities offered after-school for students in grades K - 6.  The Youth Arts Program exposes students to a variety of artistic disciplines while encouraging them to work in community with their peers as they explore various cultures and build on their experience and knowledge of the arts.   Drawing from local schools, the Youth Arts Program provides students a safe place to learn and create while receiving an outstanding education outside of the regular school day.

VAN SERVICE

We want all our students to enjoy their experience while riding the CHAW van after school. To ensure the safety of every rider we ask that students follow the Van Rules at all times. CHAW reserves the right to suspend student pickup without refund if a student is unruly, endangers other students, or is chronically tardy and/or absent. All student riders must stay seated, have their seat belt buckled for the duration of the trip, and be respectful to the van driver and other students. Student absences must be called into CHAW by 2:30 pm.  Failure to notify the office of student absences three times in a session may be asked to forfeit their van spot with no refund.
