Christian Kloc learned to juggle at age six after seeing the Flying Karamazov Brothers perform. What started as a basic trick became an obsession. Christian grew up attending juggling festivals across the country and performing at local events. After 23 years, he is still surprised and amazed by the power of that 'basic trick' to change lives and cause spontaneous outbursts of fun in the world.
Christian has taught juggling classes at the Trapeze School of New York (DC) for the past two years. He has performed in circus productions at the Atlas Theatre, SAX Lounge and as part of the city's Art All Night celebration. Since last Winter, he and his friends have been working on their urban photography project Street Light Circus to bring contemporary circus to the District through exhibits, workshops and online collaborations.
