Songs and Steps of Pride

As part of traditional June celebrations of lesbian and gay pride, the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop will present “Songs and Steps of Pride,” a program featuring performances by the Rock Creek Singers of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, Not What You Think, and several cabaret singers (Matt Howe, Elizabeth McCain, Brian Huseman, Lynne Barstow, and Dean Reichard), veterans of the CHAWbaret series. A special part of the evening will be a social dance session with CHAW teacher John Aaron Blanchette.

Join us for an evening of entertainment ranging from a set of cowboy songs (Rock Creek Singers) to a cappella harmonies (Not What You Think) to the story-telling of cabaret to a chance to get up and join the fun!
