CANCELED - Friday ARTnights: Working from the Figure

Working from nude models, this is an adults-only, uninstructed, monitored, 3-hour walk-in, drawing session. It is highly suggested that those who attend have at least some basic or prior drawing experience from the life model. The model usually poses for an extended period in the same pose so that an artist can render a completed piece and at times we will extend a particularly good pose for multiple sessions. You are free to paint or draw in a medium of your choice. The event is inclusive and welcomes both beginners and practicing, professional artists. Expect a warm, supportive, and engaging atmosphere to further develop your figure drawing skills.

We Happy Few presents "Shakespeare Karaoke"

This year's Hamlet Project event will invite the audience to interact with the text. We Happy Few will provide the text of Hamlet, scissors, and glue sticks. Your job: cut up the script. Reorder it. Rewrite it. Reassign it. Reimagine it completely. Are you tired of how wishy-washy Hamlet is?  Change his motivations!  Do you wish Ophelia had more to say?  Give her some of your favorite lines!  Have you ever wondered how your verse sounds next to Shakespeare’s?  Now’s the time to find out!  Take one of the best known texts in the Shakespeare cannon and make it your own.
