On February 16th, a special group of people gathered to celebrate CHAW and let CHAW celebrate them. The group is our major donors, also known as the Circle of Muses. While enjoying delicious food and drink, our Muses were treated to a short concert by Inscape Ensemble, featuring CHAW teaching artist Megan Yanick. Each Muse received an original, one-of-a-kind artwork by CHAW teaching artist Ellen Cornett, then moved to the black box theater to enjoy Twelfth Night or What You Will. Twelfth Night was the latest production by Taffety Punk, CHAW’s critically acclaimed resident theater company. It was an inspiring evening showcasing some of the best things at CHAW, in honor of donors who are crucial to CHAW’s success!
Our Muses make a three-year pledge to CHAW to donate at least $1,200 per year. These donations not only help provide tuition assistance and cover the gap between tuition and the actual costs of classes, they also offer CHAW a reliable income stream into the future. A reliable future income stream is almost unheard of in a small non-profit organization like CHAW, and it allows us to plan for the future with confidence. Click here for more information.
