Opening Reception with Juror’s remarks and awards: Saturday, April 6 from 5pm-7pm. There will be cash awards for Best in Show, Merit awards and two Honorable Mention awards. All awards will be presented at the Opening Reception with the juror presenting his remarks at 6:00 pm.

Saturday, March 2 - Capitol Hill Art League Opening Reception for Home, an all-media art exhibit
The Capitol Hill Art League hosts an opening reception for Home, an all-media juried exhibit on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, 545 7th St, SE. The juror for the show is Anke Van Wagenberg, Chief Curator at the Academy Art Museum in Easton, Maryland.
The exhibit runs until March 30, 2019.

Participants will work on hand building and whee; throwing techniques (no firing or glazing) with teaching artist Maria Estenson.

Work on drawings or paintings in front of a live model in a session without formal instruction, facilitated by artist Will Fleishell. Please bring your own drawing materials. Easels, folding tables and chairs are available on a first come, first serve basis. CHAW is located 1 & ½ blocks south of Eastern Market metro station.
