This event has been canceled. CHAW is closed to all public events until further notice. We hope we may be able to reschedule this reception for a later date, but it's too soon to say at this time - CHAW Facilities

The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop presents an exhibit of the works of Carol Antezana, recipient of CHAW’s 2020 Darkroom Artist Residency, on view March 9th to March 28th.

A reception and artist talk will be held on March 21st from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at 545 7th Street, SE, Washington, DC, 20003.

For three months this winter, Carol worked in the darkroom and digital photographic facilities at CHAW, dedicating time to a project about motherhood, womanhood, and the aguayo -- a traditional Bolivian carrying cloth. The reception and exhibition is free and open to the public.
