The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop presents an exhibit of the works of Carol Antezana, recipient of CHAW’s 2020 Darkroom Artist Residency, on view March 9th to March 28th.
A reception and artist talk will be held on March 21st from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at 545 7th Street, SE, Washington, DC, 20003.
For three months this winter, Carol worked in the darkroom and digital photographic facilities at CHAW, dedicating time to a project about motherhood, womanhood, and the aguayo -- a traditional Bolivian carrying cloth. The reception and exhibition is free and open to the public.

Carol Antezana is a Fine Art Photographer who works with the themes of birth, death and loss. She graduated from The Corcoran School of Arts and Design at George Washington University with a B.F.A. in Fine Art Photography. Her work Lamentation was part of the Senior Thesis Exhibition called NEXT at the Corcoran School of Arts and Design (formally the Corcoran Gallery of Art).
