Capitol Hill Art League Opens Its 2018-2019 Season
with a Focus on “Joie de Vivre”
The Capitol Hill Art League presents an all media, members’ art exhibition called Joie de Vivre.
This Joy of Living theme invites our members to use their “joie de vivre” in creating exuberant artwork to invoke energy, inspire enthusiasm, cause cheerfulness, lend lightheartedness, and deliver JOY!
The juror for the show is Kat Jamieson.
The Opening Reception with Juror’s Remarks and awards will be held on Saturday, October 6 from 5pm-7pm, open to the public.
Exhibit dates: October 2-November 7 at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, at 545 7th St. SE,
Washington, DC, located in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood three blocks south of the renowned Eastern Market on Capitol Hill.
General gallery hours are: 9:30 am–9:00 pm (M-Th), 9:30 am–6:00 pm (F), and 9:00 am–2:00 pm (Sat).
